Dr. Catherine A. Darling, O.D. Dr. Catherine Darling earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Eastern Illinois University in 1996. She successfully completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2000, graduating with clinical Honors in the top 5% of her class. Dr. Darling founded Darling Eye Center in 2000 with an office in Bluffton. She has quickly grown the practice into the area’s leading optometric provider, adding a second office on Hilton Head Island in 2005. Dr. Darling has completed multiple marathons and enjoys her free time with her husband, Mark, and her family. |

Dr. Nicole M. Pecko, O.D.
Doctor Details:
Dr. Nicole M. Pecko, O.D. Dr. Nicole Pecko graduated from Ohio State in 2017, and completed undergrad at Miami University of Ohio in 2013. She joined the Darling Eye Center family in 2019 after practicing for 2 years in Columbia, SC. Dr. Pecko specializes in hard to fit contact lenses, including scleral, RGP, and mutifocal. There is no challenge too big for her! Dr Pecko loves spending her free time with her beagle, Louie and her husband, Steven. She is a fan of the outdoors, hiking, and of course, ice cream! |

Karla Andrade
Bluffton Office Manager & Optician Karla has been in the optical field for well over 25 years. Prior to joining our team, she started her career in California at an optical office and worked her way up to manager of that very office. She now leads our staff in Bluffton. She has been with Darling Eye Center for over 15 years and takes pride in offering every patient individualized and caring service. |

Lisa Adams
Hilton Head Office Manager & Optician Lisa has been working in various positions in the optical industry for over 20 years. Having practiced in 5 different states, she has found her home in 'The Lowcountry". She has been an integral part of the Darling Eye Center family for 8+ years. She loves working closely with patients to find eyewear that not only meets their visual needs but also matches their personal style. Her patients have always been her #1 priority as well as her passion. |
