With more than 25 years in the optical industry, Lisa Adams brings a rare combination of expertise, precision, and genuine care to every patient she serves.
Her career began at the front desk as a receptionist, but it wasn’t long before her natural leadership, relentless curiosity, and deep empathy propelled her through the ranks to regional manager. From that point on, she knew she’d found her life’s work.
Lisa has worn many hats over the years—working with lens and frame manufacturers, mastering the complexities of insurance, and managing practices across five states. But through every role and responsibility, one thing has remained constant: her unwavering devotion to people. To Lisa, patients aren’t just appointments on a schedule—they’re stories, relationships, and lives she’s proud to impact.
A proud daughter of two U.S. Marines—a commanding Drill Sergeant mother and a Major father—Lisa’s upbringing was rooted in discipline, grit, and grace. Frequent moves throughout her childhood taught her to connect quickly and genuinely, a skill that shines through in every patient encounter. Originally from California, she’s found her heart’s home here in the Lowcountry, surrounded by the community she loves.
For over a decade, Lisa has been a cornerstone of the Darling Eye Center family. Her craftsmanship is meticulous—she cuts lenses in-house with the precision of a true artisan, ensuring every pair meets her exacting standards. Yet it’s in the styling room, face to face with her patients, where Lisa truly comes alive. She listens with care, sees with intuition, and has an uncanny talent for finding frames that don’t just fit—they belong. Her ability to match eyewear to personality is nothing short of magic.
Beyond the office, Lisa approaches life with the same joy and curiosity that fuel her work. She’s a devoted animal lover, an adventurous traveler, a Coke Zero enthusiast, and a passionate foodie. She treasures time with her nephews, friends, and family—and carries their love into everything she does.
