Karla Andrade

With more than 35 years of experience in the optical field, Karla Andrade brings a unique blend of expertise, dedication, and genuine care to her role as Bluffton Office Manager at Darling Eye Center. Since joining the practice in 2005, Karla has built lasting relationships with patients and staff alike, earning a reputation for treating every patient like family and ensuring each person feels heard, valued, and cared for. 

Karla’s journey in eye care began in California shortly after high school, when she accepted her first position as a receptionist in an optical office. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and natural ability to connect with people quickly led her into management roles. Over the years, she has gained a deep understanding of both the clinical and personal sides of patient care. 

For Karla, this work is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives every day. Whether she’s helping a nervous patient feel at ease or ensuring the office runs smoothly behind the scenes, Karla approaches each task with compassion and dedication. 

Outside of the office, Karla cherishes time with her family, especially her beloved grandbabies who bring endless joy to her life. She enjoys being outdoors—whether it’s boating, relaxing at the beach, or unwinding with a good book.
